The other night I was driving over to the ATM getting ready for a trip the following day when I came across an accident. It appeared that some of the SOU students had been drinking that night and ran their black SUV smack dab into a tree outside of one of the residence buildings. I couldn’t help thinking that they were going to need a good DUI lawyer in Ashland. The police where there, the kids didn’t look to be harmed, only a little shaken up, and thank God they didn’t hurt anyone else that night with their stupidity.
Every once in a while I would love to be a fly on the wall. Just being nosey, but I think it would be interesting to listen in on the phone call to their parents. “Mommy, I’m okay, the car is totaled, and by the way… I need a DUI lawyer in Ashland.” Hopefully those kids learned a valuable lesson that night about drinking and driving.
